The neighborhood is bordered by Madison South and Woodland Park to the west, Parkrose to the north, Russell to the east, and Hazelwood to the south. Parkrose Heights neighborhood is technically bordered by I-84 on both western and northern boundaries. Its southern boundary is NE Halsey St and NE 122nd Ave is the eastern boundary. Parkrose Heights has Merrifield City Park, and Knott City Park. Two schools are near Knott City Park including Sacramento Elementary School and Knott Street School. Notable presence in this neighborhood include Kaiser Permanente Gateway Medical Office and Vibra Specialty Hospital of Portland on the southwest corner of the neighborhood.
