Woodland Park Neighborhood, Portland, OR

Woodland Park is a tiny neighborhood that is exclusively residential in East Portland in the southwest tip of Parkrose Heights neighborhood. Woodland Park is a separate neighborhood from Parkrose Heights and it abuts I-84 on the western boundary. South of the neighborhood is Hazelwood. Woodland Park located on the corner of NE Halsey St and NE 102nd Ave and only has 99 homes that are all detached single-family houses in the neighborhood and is the smallest neighborhood out of Portland’s 95 officially recognized neighborhoods. It feels more like a subdivision than a neighborhood because it’s so small. Across the street from the neighborhood on NE 102nd Ave are hospitals including Kaiser Permanente Gateway Medical Office and Vibra Specialty Hospital of Portland. On the other side of the neighborhood on NE Halse St, you will find some amenities like Applebee’s, Starbucks, Ross, Fred Meyer, Winco, and locally-owned ethnic restaurants in strip malls.

Living in Woodland Park offers an easy access to I-84 and I-205. It is also a peaceful and quiet neighborhood with affordable home prices.
