Beaumont-Wilshire is a neighborhood in Northeast Portland bordered by Alameda, Concordia, Cully, Rose City Park, and Grant Park neighborhoods. It is where Beaumont Village is located, the main commercial district in the neighborhood located on NE Fremont Street from 33rd Ave. to NE 50th Ave. The neighborhood is very close to Hollywood District to the south, which is a major commercial and shopping area.
Beaumont-Wilshire is a nice neighborhood that is older and well-established in Northeast Portland. The neighborhood is a combined area of two separate neighborhoods Beaumont to the south of NE Freemont St. and Wilshire to the north. You will see quiet residential streets with lots of trees alongside in this neighborhood with lots of charming older Tudors, Craftsman, and Bungalow styled homes. On the north of Fremont, there is Wilshire Park on the northeast border, which is an 14.40 acre park with a picnic area, dog off-leash area, soccer field, softball field, and a volleyball court. The park provides a nice open space for residents including children and puppies to enjoy leisurely activities.
