Cully Neighborhood, Portland, OR

Cully is a neighborhood in Northeast Portland next to PDX International Airport to the north. Cully neighborhood borders Sunderland, Concordia, and Beaumont-Wilshire on the west, Portland International Airport on the north, Sumner on the east, and Rose City Park and Roseway on the south. Cully neighborhood has been known to have the smallest amount of parkland per capita and the issue is being addressed at the neighborhood association. In 2012, The Thomas Cully Park Community Garden had a grand opening in October. Another notable feature of the neighborhood is the presence of the Japanese Cemetery, maintained by the Japanese Ancestral Society of Portland.
