Hillsdale is a neighborhood in Southwest Portland bordering Southwest Hills, Healy Heights, and Homestead on the north, Corbett-Terwilliger on the east, South Burlingame and Multnomah on the south, and Hayhurst and Bridlemile on the west. Hillsdale is a family friendly neighborhood that has suburban feelings with close proximity to schools, parks, a library, and a shopping center but the commute to Downtown Portland is very short. This neighborhood is home to the Hillsdale Farmer’s Market, which takes place on Sundays during the summer and every other Sunday during the winter. The farmer’s market is visited by over 3,000 people on Sundays.
You will see lots of mature trees, older homes with comfortable family friendly feel in this neighborhood. Streets are quiet and homes are well-kept with lush green lawns on larger lots. Many homes were built after WWII and you will see an abundance of older ranch style homes.
