Multnomah is a neighborhood in Southwest Portland, which includes the business district in the center called Multnomah Village. The neighborhood is bordered by Maplewood, Ashcreek, and Crestwood on the west, Hayhurst and Hillsdale to the north, and South Burlingame, Markham, and West Portland Park to the south and east. Multnomah is a charming area with a small town feel especially in Multnomah Village where you will find streets lined with unique antique and craft stores, cafes, art galleries and an independent music store. The Multnomah Community Center is a popular neighborhood gathering place, where locals come to share a strong sense of community.
Multnomah Days is an annual neighborhood street fair that takes place every year in the summer in Multnomah Village. At the street fair, you will see about 120 vendors in tents on Capital Highway with lots of street parades including classic cars, marching bands, clowns, but it all starts with Head of the Pack Pooch Parade in the morning where dogs and their owners march together.
